이번 주는 야곱의 형인 에서 가문의 족보를 읽게 됩니다.

이 본문에는 언약 밖의 자손인 에서와 그 후손인 에돔 종족이 어떤 식으로 세상에 퍼져나가게 되고, 그래서 언약 백성인 야곱의 후손들과는 어떤 차이가 나게 되는지에 대한 교훈들이 담겨 있습니다.
