이번 주는 금년 마지막 주를 맞이하여 그동안의 우리의 믿음의 결산을 점검케 하는 말씀을 듣게 됩니다.

예수님의 청지기에 관한 이 말씀에서 우리는 지난 일년의 믿음의 여정을 돌아보면서, 무엇을 복 있다 칭찬듣고, 무엇을 잘못하였는지 셈하는 마음을 점검해 볼 수 있습니다.

다음의 질문들을 통하여 본문을 먼저 살펴 보시지요.

- 본문에 나오는 청지기는 주인으로부터 무슨 일을 하도록 지시받았습니까?

- 45절에 먼저 언급되는 ‘그 종’은 누구입니까?

- ‘그 종’은 주인이 더디 온다고 생각하여 저지른 잘못 중에 왜 다른 종들을 때리는 잘못을 저질렀을까요?

- 46절을 보면, 청지기의 직무를 제대로 감당하지 못한 데 대한 벌은 어떠한 자가 받는 벌이라 합니까?

- 46절의 ‘엄히 때리고’라는 표현이 공동번역에는 어찌 되어 있습니까? 또한 개역개정의 난외주도 찾아보십시오.

눅 12:42-48 　42) The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? 　43) It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns. 　44) Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 　45) But suppose the servant says to himself, ‘My master is taking a long time in coming,’ and he then begins to beat the other servants, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk. 　46) The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers. 　47) “The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows. 　48) But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows.
