이번 주는 18선교대회 선포식이 있습니다. 
선교대회의 본격적인 일정을 시작하면서 우리는 사도 바울 일행이 선교 여행 중에 빌립보에서 당한 수난과 그 결과를 읽으려 합니다. 
어떠한 과정으로 구원의 역사가 시작되고 그러한 역사를 어떻게 열매맺음하게 되는지를 잘 볼 수 있는 본문입니다. 

다음의 질문들을 통하여 본문을 미리 살펴보시지요.

- 25절을 보면, 감옥에 갇힌 바울과 실라가 드린 기도는 어떤 기도였습니까? 그런 상황에서 우리 같으면 드릴 어떤 기도의 내용이 없었습니까?

- 그런 기도를 듣고 있었던 사람들은 누구였다 합니까?

- 바울이 28절에서 간수들을 안심시키는 말을 해 주었음에도 불구하고, 29절을 보면, 간수들은 왜 무서워 떨었을까요?

- 30절에서 간수들이 사도 바울과 실라를 부르는 ‘선생들이여’라는 호칭이 다른 번역들에는 어찌 되어 있습니까?

- 30절에서 간수는 아직 믿음이 없는 상태이기 때문에 성경에서 말하는 구원이 무엇인지는 모르는 상태였을 것입니까? 그렇다면 간수가 말하는 구원은 어떤 구원이었을까요?

- 사도 바울이 간수의 구원 방법을 묻는 질문에 대한 답을 한 후에 한 행동은 무엇이었습니까?

- 간수가 세례를 받은 후에 크게 기뻐하게 된 이유는 무엇이라 합니까?

At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. 　27) The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. 　28) But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself!
